AROMA:
On the nose the over-ripening of the grapes is immediately evident, with warm and honeyed, ethereal and floral hints. Afterwards a concert of aromas opens, plum, cherry, mint, truffle, caramel.
COLOUR:
Alberto Ballarin Barolo Bricco Rocca Riserva shows a beautiful garnet red color with slight orange reflections.
TASTE:
In the mouth it is broad, tannic, enveloping, long and velvety. Despite the large structure, however, a good balance is appreciated which translates into great elegance. Also suitable for aging. Fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Aging 38 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
FOOD COMBINATION:
It´s a wine suitable for aging (fifteen or more years). It is best served at a temperature between sixteen and eighteen degrees and it´s ideal paired with meat, game and mature cheese.
