AROMA:
Bursts with bright cherries and strawberries, which are followed by rose petal, spices, fresh minerals and licorice.
COLOUR:
It has a full and deep garnet colour.
TASTE:
A wonderful firm structure backed by round tannins that explode on to your palate. The finish is long and polished with loads of bright cherry flavors mixed with pretty florals. Needs a bit more time, but overall a gorgeous entry into the magnificent range of 2011s from the Conterno Family. (Best 2017-2030)
FOOD COMBINATION:
Game, red meat, meat braised in the same wine and mature cheese.
