They named this Barolo “Tre Ciabot” because the Nebbiolo grapes for this wine come from the three main vineyards, at whose centre is a small house called “Ciabot” in the Piedmontese dialect. Therefore “Three vineyards”, “Three towns”, “THREE CIABOT”.
