AROMA:
The Burlotto Massara Barolo 2011 has a characteristic bouquet, ethereal, pleasant, and intense.
COLOUR:
Garnet red with orangey glints.
TASTE:
Appear on the rich, medium-bodied palate and is dry, full, robust, austere, velvety, and balanced.
The wine is aged 24 months in a wooden barrel (5 000 liters) that are between 2 and 15 years old, 50% Slovenian wood and 50% French, followed by 6 months minimum in the bottle.
FOOD COMBINATION:
Game, red meat, meat braised in the same wine and mature cheese. Open two or three hours before serving and decant.
