AROMA:
Barolo from Bricco San Pietro gives perfumes of dried herbs, like cinnamon, vanilla and darker tones of tobacco, chocolate, haxelnuts and liquorice.
COLOUR:
Medium-deep ruby red with garnet to orange overtones.
TASTE:
Ruggeri Corsini Barolo Bricco San Pietro is an elegant wine, round and with distinct floral notes which can include violet and rose. Maceration lasts 15-18 days. After racking, decantering and malolactic fermentation occurs, the wine is then put to stand in Slavonian oak barrels for 30 months. Bottled in July.
FOOD COMBINATION:
It´s a wine suitable for aging (eight to ten years minimum). It is best served at a temperature between sixteen and eighteen degrees and it´s ideal paired with meat, game, cheese and polenta.
