Boasso Barolo Gabutti Magnum 2011



A Barolo with smoky, cedar, berry and meat aromas and flavors. Roses, dried fruit and liquorice.


It has a pale, almost bricky colour.


Full-bodied, chewy and rich. Fres red fruit, very lush and concentrated, so much so the tannins which will keep this going are well-covered. Very long. This is already showing beautifully but will keep well too. Drink now to 2023.

From the Gabutti vineyard beside the cellar, a one hectare, south-east facing site on calcareous marl at about 330m of altitude.


Game, red meat, meat braised in the same wine and mature cheese.
