Castello di Verduno Barolo 2013
Opens on pure ripe raspberry notes with mineral, herbaceous and conifer tone.
It has a dense garnet red colour.
Solid structure with rumbling tannins and long, solid finish.
The wine is aged 24 months in wooden barrel (2500 liters) that are between 2 and 15 year old, 100% Slovenian wood, followed by 6 months minimum in the bottle.
Game, red meat, meat braised in the same wine and mature cheese.
