AROMA:
The nose of Bolmida Barolo Bussia Vigna dei Fantini offers a slight concentration, a fine intensity and a fine point of over-maturity. It reveals notes of fairly ripe strawberries, cassis and more slightly fig associated with small touches of jammy red berries as well as a fine hint of balsamic and licorice.
COLOUR:
This wine boasts a magnificent garnet red colour with beautiful glints of ruby; legs with full and lingering tears draw to the fore its clarity.
TASTE:
The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a fresh frame and a certain juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, fleshy / juicy raspberry and more slightly juicy cassis associated with touches of red plum, fig, small jammy red berries as well as fine hints of rose and tobacco sweet blond. The tannins are finely firm and offer a fine straightness.
It comes from vineyards located quite in the board of Bussia of Monforte d’Alba, one of the most famous hill into the Barolo wine area.
