Intense and firm, from ruby tones in youth, through garnet hues with time, and eventually acquiring reflections of sharp orange.

Dry, full bodied and elegant tannin, rich and intense finish.
FOOD COMBINATION:
An elegant partner for roasts, game, stews, and well aged cheeses. To fully appreciate this wine it deserves to be served in large glasses. For older vintages a thorough decanting is recommended.
