AROMA:
The bouquet of Erbaluna Rocche dell´Annunziata is full and warm with hints of rose, violets, truffles and tobacco with aging.
COLOUR:
Ruby red colour with orange highlights.
TASTE:
The taste is full and dry, but balanced. Velvety and very persistent. The wine mature slowly in barrels of 30-33 HL for 24 months. It gives round and smooth tannins. Long and fruity aftertaste.
The elegance of this wine is undisputed, with such finesse and roundness originating from the age of the vines, the calcareous clay soil and the ideal microclimate of the Rocche dell’ Annunziata cru. They organise the ageing process, which can exceed two years, for each vintage, choosing from barrels of varying ages.
FOOD COMBINATION:
It lends itself well to braised meats, game and hard, mature cheeses.
