The bouquet of Bolmida Barolo Bussia is elegant, intense, full and lingering; notes of dried rose, forest floor, sweet tobacco and spices complete the nose.

This wine boasts a magnificent garnet red colour with beautiful glints of ruby; legs with full and lingering tears draw to the fore its clarity.

The great structure – together with an intense warmness – please the mouth. Captivating ripe tannins evolve into a fresh and balanced sweetness. Its range of flavours is intensified by notes of chocolate, mature fruit and spices. Bussia is perfectly balanced, able to convince and satisfy even the most demanding wine lovers.
It comes from vineyards located in the higher part of Bussia of  Monforte d’Alba, one of the most renowned hill into the Barolo wine area.  Very slope hill, 25 to 35 years old plant, at 420 mt on the sea level; In total 1,7 ha in property, planted into a sandy clay miocenic sea sediment, rich in flakes of grey marl. Very well sunny (facing to the south-west) and windy, easy to maintain safe cluster also in rainy vintage.

Excellent with all kinds of food, but an ideal match in particular for game, roast and grilled meats. Outstanding with mature hard cheeses.
