Fruity and spicy aroma. Both in the nose and on the palate it presents sensations of small red berries.
It has a full and deep garnet colour.
This is a traditional cru area of Barolo, situated in the south facing slope of the hill in the village of Serralunga d’Alba. The soil of cultivation is hilly type, between 250 and 300 meter high above sea level; south-south-east located with a mixed clayish and calcareous structure which gives violet and rose, cinnamon and pepper, nutmeg, vanilla and sometimes liquorice, cocoa, tobacco and leather. Already pleasant after four to six years.
Braised and roast red meats, game, dishes served with truffles, hard and mature cheeses. It´s best to open the wine at least two hours before serving to allow it to breathe.
